Egyption style breast plate

This was a custom order I did. They came out pretty well I think.
Made from semi flexible impact resistant polyurethane.

New Troll sculpt

It took a while as it was hard to come up with a good design. There are far to many ideas as to what a troll looks like. This is what I eventually came up with.

Dragon armour new belt arrangment

The belt now buckles on the side for much more adjustment.

Prototype mechanical Digi leg

This is the first digi leg I have made using my new design. It works well, allowing me to crouch and walk without putting any pressure on the anckle. There are a couple of design mods that need to be done but on the whole I am pleased. I will add video when I have the second leg completed.

Hobgoblin

This is the first paint test for the hobgoblin mask.

Black knight armour

This new piece is to try out an idea I have had to make suits of armour with interchangable decorative additions. So the main suit will be reasonably plain and then you choose the style. On the lower leg piece I have done, the skull knee can be taken off and a new decoration put on. I will do the upper leg armour next and then make another knee decoration.

The skulls mouth opens and closes as you bend your knee. This was sculpted in clay, then rough cast and cleaned up.

Wood Automiton

This was a challange. I wanted it to look like it had been carved out of an old gnarled log with some of the uncarved log forming the face. I think the final sculpt worked. Although I had to stop the grain at the top of the face because it would have taken far more time than it was worth to sculpt all the end grain.

Hobgoblin

This started out as a troll but the finished sculpt ended up looking far to cunning and intelligent. So it has evolved into a hobgoblin.
Sometimes the clay leads you in a different direction and I find that it is better to go with it.

Quadros demon

I sculpted the original of this over 15yrs ago at collage and it has been used in Fools and Heroes live roleplay ever since. Unfortunatly I no longer have the mould and they needed more. So it got a well deserved re-sculpt.

Zombie mask sculpt

Started this today. I wanted to create a convincing zombie mask. The tricky bit was the nose but I think I made it work.

First Orc mask

So here is the first latex pull with a quick paint job.

Orc mask moulded

I moulded the orc mask today. Its a one piece plaster mould. I can do this as I sculpt on a collapsible head cast. This means I can remove the head cast and clay through the neck openning. You save alot of time not having to build walls and means you have no nasty split lines to clean up in the castings later.

New Orc mask.

I have been asked to do new masks for Fools and heroes larp. So I thought I would start with the orc. Probably one of the most used baddies in any system. This at about 10hrs scuplt time and is finished barring any tweaks/changes that may need to be done.

Dragon armour finished

Hi all. I have finally finished the armour. I changed the shoulders and also sculpted the eagle shoulder plate as an alternative to just a plain one. I am going to do a dragon design shoulder as well so it is in keeping with the overall theme. The eagle design is a character piece for my LARP character.
